Shanghai MODU Club

This is a club that has abandoned the traditional concept of nightclub design. It is not only a club, but also a carnival and a grand indoor music festival. The business is located in the magical city of Shanghai, therefore the designer aimed to create a magical and surreal experience. As the first impression guests receive of the interior, the reception hall is designed reflects a sense of magic, in both its spatial composition and design materials. The reception lobby was designed as a cave-like form with a large area fashioned from natural granite. The overall space is rich in rough textures, giving guests a visually interesting experience. In the bar, the most eye-catching element is the LED screen. From the moment they enter MODU, guests abandon their perceptions of the club experience and start to embrace the new.
