With its natural and historical significance, Zhenjiang City is the main inspiration, used to create a spatial atmosphere with contemporary humanistic aesthetics – one that captures the balance between modernity and the oriental culture. Zhenjiang City was known as ‘Runzhou in ancient times, a historical city with beautiful scenery and a deep heritage, and the birthplace of Wu culture. The project integrates elements of river, water, tower and forest and conveys the unique design aesthetics in a deconstructed form.
