This bespoke design by Designer Kitchen by Morgan has an evolutionary fusion of styles that exceeded the client’s expectations and set a benchmark for contemporary classic styling. The client wanted the design to exude quality without becoming ostentatious and asked for an understated art deco influence. The company was engaged to design and install the entire interior of the extension.

The kitchen design was developed by housing larger appliances behind supporting pillars, while the cooking and preparation zones were then centralised along the back wall beneath a large curved mantle. The island peninsula creates a functional and social interface allowing the kitchen to escape its architectural confines with a black ebony drinks unit completing the cabinetry transition from kitchen to living space. A custom television unit provides a cabinetry counterweight within the room, offering equilibrium with the space and creating a focal point for the family.
