Mal Corboy was engaged to complete the full interior space of this family home. The brief was a home that needed to be modern, stylish, and perfect for entertaining. The first thing Corboy found was its statement piece, the granite, which was used on the kitchen island, and created solid on a column at the end of the island. To add warmth to the area, teak was used on the island and for the custom designed feature light. As the stairwell is a focal point upon entering the home, Corboy used travertine on the back wall and teak to create slated walls. The travertine was continued into the sauna, as a feature wall behind the custom-designed Corian vanity.
