Throughout this Grade II-Listed house, the spatial layout, design approach and technical specifications enable the family to enjoy a luxurious and contemporary family-orientated home. Existing features have been enhanced while fusing natural and contemporary materials with textural layers and a neutral palette. Pale oak boards and stone provide a backdrop and bespoke joinery throughout allows capacious storage. Family life centres around the five-metre kitchen island in dark sawn-edged oak topped with striking marble. Steps lead to an adjacent dining area and an intimate bar and wine cellar houses Perspex racks, metal display boxes and a bar clad in reclaimed floorboards. In the luxurious master suite, neutral colours and texture evoke a feeling of calm, with a wood-clad wall dividing the dressing area where mirror-fronted wardrobes enhance the feeling of space. All the resulting family-friendly spaces are light and airy but with rich, strong textures and a supremely luxurious feel.
