The brief was to transform the new home into a space the sparks conversation. The client was open to the exploration of using non-conventional materials for the project. The natural light coming through from one side of the building hinted at the possibility of using high-gloss materials to bring more light into the inner part of the house. What is more befitting therefore than to replace the entire floor with a uniquely selected marble of grey with specks of gold to garner attention and promote conversation. Strong colours for the bedroom were proposed to exude a stronger and distinct atmosphere. The ceiling feature accentuated the grandeur of the dining room and blurred the line between inside and outside, making the dining area feel more spacious.
