Beaches Residence – Master Suite

Studio 8 Design created this new home in the Beaches neighbourhood of Toronto, Canada. The clients wanted their master retreat to be bright, airy and nature inspired. They also wanted their space to be eco-friendly and relaxing. Studio 8 Design responded by creating an all white interior with light wood throughout to keep the space light and airy. A connection to outdoors was created with expansive black-framed windows to highlight the views, while the plants inside mirror the outside greenery. Throughout the space Studio 8 Design used natural materials such as linen, cotton, felt, wool, and wood extensively. They used a swing chair and macramé hammock to create various opportunities for relaxation. The end result is a bright, airy eco-friendly home, which truly feels connected to outside. The natural elements create an environment that is welcoming, relaxing and restorative.
