Private Apartment

The design project was created for a young, successful family of three, the inspiration for which was taken from 1930s American luxury interiors and the rapid flowering period of art déco and bright memories of Manhattan and New York. The owners of the apartment had returned from a trip to New York and had still fresh in their memories the impressions of the local interiors and the atmosphere of this fascinating city. This provided a vision, which the design team had full freedom to realise; the result is a perfect, authentic and modern classic interior. Alexander Shepel had a goal to create a timeless interior in his signature style and worked closely with clients to ensure the process from concept to completion were both straightforward and to the brief.
