All project descriptions are provided by SBID Awards entrants.
Interior design and architecture practice SHH collaborated with Prep-Line and Baxter Storey, to design high quality public areas in a refurbished 1970’s tower for a leading property investment company in France, Générale Continentale Investissement (GCI). The newly clad Latitude tower, designed by Studios Architecture, is located in Paris’ major business district La Défense. The building spans nine floors including the ground floor public areas, providing 236,806 sq ft of accommodation for circa 2,000 people. The public areas and F&B services on the ground floor were focused towards a hospitality experience for the staff and its guests. Providing areas to buy produce, work, socialise and dine. Each amenity has its own distinct character; from the triple height glazed atrium overlooking the Railway, to the double height main boulevard with its brutal concrete columns situated directly under the ‘Boulevard Circulaire’ flyover and the detailed brasserie inspired by the original 1970’s façade.
