Anonymous Law Firm

Visnick & Caulfield designed a high-end and sleek office for an international law firm (with the goal of providing “the highest quality legal services available anywhere”) that would emphasise, rather than overpower, the expansive views of the Boston skyline. The design succeeds on this point through the space’s minimalist aesthetic which is punctuated by bold custom-designed features. The elliptical reception desk and sweeping grand staircase, set across the elevator lobby from one another, are seamlessly incorporated into the design through their use of clean materials that reflect rather than obscure sight-lines. Natural materials and neutral tones for doors, lighting features, and kitchen accents ground the clean aesthetic and provide warmth. In their totality, these combinations of colour and form create a design aesthetic that is simultaneously striking and simple that speak to the understated elegance required by the client.
