The Living Rooms

The Living Rooms is a new co-working inspired space at the heart of a major financial institution’s London headquarters. The project was designed to kick-start a more agile working culture by creating a flexible work landscape where mobile and home-working staff can touch down, meet and work without needing to occupy fixed desks.

The space fills a whole floor, with three workspace zones of dawn, day and dusk reflecting the movement of the sun through the day, and wrapping around a shared atrium garden and cafe, which creates a new heart for the building.

The Living Rooms is a busy, engaging and active space that encourages a sense of community, creativity and common purpose. With its rich combination of materials, textures, graphics and furniture, it creates a totally new environment for this organisation that looks different, feels different and works more effectively.
