Flight Club Birmingham

Flight Club Birmingham fuses the excitement and vibrancy of the Victorian fairground with the warmth and lustre of the Great British pub.

The design for the ground floor transports guests to the traditional Victorian fairground. The concept is based around the idea of the fairground penchant for a ‘trick of the eye’ and the design scheme is an exploration of the beginnings of animation and the moving image.

The first floor design is inspired by the British love of equestrianism and country pursuits mixed with the Victorian passion for Orientalism and their love of layered eclecticism.

To create the scheme Ellis Design Studio designed bespoke lighting and furniture, sourced rare and vintage pieces and worked with a team of scenic and fine artists to create a dramatic & visually beguiling space, which invites guests on a journey of discovery and wonder.
