Rixos Hotel Premium, Dubrovnik

Situated in the Croatian town of Dubrovnik, sits the 5* Rixos Premium, recently renovated by design studio, Ina Rinderknecht. Inspired by the surrounding culture, architecture and history, Ina Rinderknecht were entrusted with the renovation of the hotel’s lobby, its two restaurants, the sports bar, the outdoor and indoor pools and the large spa area.

The lush gardens and century-old trees that fill Dubrovnik’s old town, encouraged the team to transform the lobby into an indoor garden. The mirror arches in the lobby are also an important design feature as they are a modern imitation of the arches found in the narrow, local side streets.

A distinct reception area features an ensemble of 3 tailor-made desks and custom chandeliers. The lobby features various different seating options that were exclusively designed for the area. Adjacent to the vast open lobby, sits a large round bar that connects the various open spaces.
