Elicyon designed a three-bedroom show apartment situated on the 31st floor of One Casson Square, Southbank Place. The floor to ceiling windows that wrap around the property, led to a brief that focused on enhancing these incredible outdoor city views, nodding to natural textures and organic forms, also influenced by the location of the apartment and the site’s history. A ‘new neutrals’ colour palette was adopted, to complement the abundance of natural light, with a scheme of warm sandy tones, interspersed with darker autumnal colours, creating a space that is rich, warm and heartening. The tactile, woven textures of linens, cottons, and boucle wool, add to this overall natural theme, contrasted with furnishings upholstered in velvets and eye-catching leathers, adding a touch of indulgence to the space. The furniture throughout feels stylish and contemporary but its bespoke design makes each piece feel timeless, and seamlessly incorporated within the space.
