Roundhouse was asked to remodel a section of this home to incorporate a bespoke boot room, walk-in pantry, utility, and kitchen with desk area. The brief included planning a small extension to fulfill these requirements. The key element of the brief was the joinery design; it had to be practical and offer visual individuality whilst creating a natural flow throughout the house.
The family were enthusiastic cooks and specified high-end appliances. Glazed cabinetry, clear glass framed doors, concealed LED lighting, bronze mirror, and hand-finished brass details make this kitchen and surrounding rooms a stand-out project. The shallow desk run combined with an original brick wall that the client uncovered is a playful but practical touch.
The combination of colour, natural textures oak, brass, and brickwork is what makes this kitchen so visually effective; they all connect effortlessly, and every detail was considered.
