The holiday apartment was designed as a place to restore inner balance by quoting the elements of nearby seaside nature. These motifs are reflected in lighting and rug design, reminding of a pebbled beach. The free-flowing shapes of the dining area, joinery details reminiscing delicate flower petals and general colour palette represent the idea of biophilia, a hypothetical human tendency to be associated with forms of life in nature. Such elements integrated in interior can improve physical and spiritual balance.
One of the main objectives of the project was creating effortless interior with uniquely handcrafted furniture that would remain timeless for decades. The furniture is designed as a group of unique design objects with high artistic value, without forfeiting their functionality and practicality. Extravagant accents emerge in the interior, such as metal elements and glass details that represent the endless possibilities of contemporary glasswork techniques.
