Opened in 1974, Radisson Blu Deira Creek was the first 5* Hotel in Dubai and Lulie Fisher Design Studio was appointed by Radisson to refurbish the public areas including entrance and fountain court, reception, lobby lounge, Boulvar restaurant, Boulevard café, the spa, pool and bridal suites. The design approach was to retain and refurbish the historic unique backdrop of timber marquetry, brass inlaid water jet-cut marbles and timber coffered ceilings whilst sensitively layering in contemporary joinery, furniture, finishes and artwork to modernise the hotel for today’s discerning guest whilst retaining all its heritage and colourful character.
