This project epitomises the essence of family home. Starting as a home for one generation of the family, we were tasked, alongside DMVF architects, to reimagine the old farmhouse along with an extensive extension, linked by, what was to be, a feature connecting structure with interjecting staircase, bridging the two buildings, and deliver an entirely different home experience to the next generation, preserving the framework of the original, but merging it with something totally new, to create a home that would stand the test of time to be passed down to the following generation.
