In response to significant growth and the evolving needs of its workforce, Scotiabank — one of Canada’s largest financial institutions — sought to create a new flagship and worked with KPMB Architects to develop a matured expression of the brand and establish global workplace strategy and design guidelines. Underpinned by a consistent and democratically applied design language, the 14-floor workplace prioritizes service, comfort, and convenience for clients and employees with a variety of formal and informal workspaces; provides flexibility for growth; encourages healthy living with access to abundant natural light and colleagues; and celebrates the culture of place through wayfinding and art.
