HomeSmiths was appointed to design and specify the interior for the Blind Veterans UK's new Rusting Centre of Wellbeing. Blind Veterans UK is a military charity helping generations of vision impaired veterans overcome sight loss. Their home in Brighton was no longer fully meeting their needs so they purchased the former home of the RAF Benevolent Fund in Rustington, seeing it as the perfect coastal location for their new centre. The new centre provides wellbeing support and rehabilitation to blind veterans as well as permanent accommodation with nursing care to some veterans moving from the Brighton centre.
