LUXE Fitness is an edgy, vibrant space within Bristol's Beacon Tower. Design Storey was commissioned to create a dynamic, inclusive fitness space that promoted wellness. Innovations like the backlit staircase address safety concerns, bespoke chandeliers add drama and visual impact was achieved through dark hues and industrial finishes, creating a nightclub-like ambiance. Functionality was key to the success of the scheme and repurposing the former restaurant space, with meticulous zoning and equipment placement. The project’s sustainable ambitions focused on social value, using recycled materials and lean design principles.
