The project Urban Elegance, led by Montreal-based architects ARCHITEM Wolff Shapiro Kuskowski architectes and interior designers Desjardins Bherer, involved a complete renovation of a two-level condo to suit the new lifestyle of its owners, whose children had moved out. The mandate was to redesign the space for daily needs and large gatherings. Objectives included relocating the staircase, incorporating sliding partitions for flexible spaces, maximizing natural light, and enhancing views of Montreal and the nearby mountain. The use of high end materials like wood, marble, glass, and stainless steel, create a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. The result was a stylish, adaptable home.
