The boutique hotel “Nils am See” was designed by Mezza—Maiso as an exclusive countryside hideaway at the shore of lake Neusiedl, Austria. The hotel's distinctive appeal lies in its resemblance to a contemporary private beach house that aims to feel instantly at home. Extending the lakeside ambiance into the interior, the hotel's design concept embraces a maritime boho theme. A harmonious, pared-back color scheme, with natural materials, white-brushed wood surfaces, textured wallpaper, and various details, creates a unique atmosphere. The hotel created a laid-back beach vibe that instantly brings guests into a happy vacation mood.
