Siminetti created the largest 100% mother of pearl mural as a stunning focal point in a private wellness suite located in the UK. Handcrafted from the finest, sustainable freshwater and saltwater pearl, the mural curves around the feature wall behind the client’s swimming pool and depicts the Greek island of Mykonos, sun setting over the ocean and yachts at anchor. Siminetti dedicated a team of 4 skilled craftspeople to create the mural. Measuring 8.46m wide and 2.68m high, it took 12 weeks to complete this one-off mosaic piece of art equating to 2304 manhours and around 100,000 pieces of pearl.
