In creating Checkout.com’s new workspace in the heart of Shoreditch, Modus took central brand values of youth, integrity, energy, environmental concern, innovation and enterprise as a foundation and built a visually arresting, profoundly modern office that acts as the ultimate activity-based design. The beauty of Checkout’s new space comes not from an overreliance on flashy, gaudy features or an overwhelming use of bold colours. Instead, the impact of the space comes from the absolute attention to detail in deftly balancing the aesthetic elements of the design, creating an office that inspires through an inventive marriage of contrasting materials and products.
