BettePond Silhouette bath

The BettePond Silhouette from Bette is the first circular freestanding bath to be made from glazed titanium-steel and sets new standards in both design and durability for both residential and commercial use.

The strength and formability of Bette’s titanium-steel has allowed the bath to be created in a large 150cm diameter while also having a super-slim rim, for a stylish minimal aesthetic. In addition, the material is robust, easy to clean and comes with a thirty year warranty. Bette’s glazed titanium-steel has permanent colour stability, is impermeable to bath additives and its almost indestructible nature means that the BettePond Silhouette can be used in both residential and hotel bathrooms.

Created as a reminder of the original shape of the ‘tub’, with no beginning and no end, no edges or corners, it could be said that the circle is the most perfect and balanced shape to create an oasis of relaxation in the bathroom. Now, with the BettePond Silhouette, this perfect shape is also available in the perfect material for the bathroom.

The German design offices of Tesseraux + Partner created the BettePond Silhouette design and it requires all of Bette’s skill in titanium-steel shaping, welding and enamelling to create a such a large circular bath, with a perfectly smooth connection of the interior and exterior.

The BettePond Silhouette bath has strong sustainability credentials. As with all Bette baths, washbasins and shower trays, the BettePond Silhouette is made from natural raw materials – glass, water and steel and is 100% recyclable. Bette’s environmental achievements are confirmed by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) which complies with ISO 14025 and EN15804.
