The ‘Abstraction’ capsule Lighting Collection is a creative collaboration between design duo Michal Baginski and Sandra Drechsler (Drechsler Design), both product and interior designers based in London and USA. The inspiration behind the designs was taken from the abstract forms in the creative arts. Modern shapes combined with elegant finishes and materials suitable for both premium residential and hospitality interiors.
Lyndon lighting fixture is designed having versatility in mind. Functional, touch operated, dimmable light suits any space – nightstand, desk, bookshelf or as part of feature display at various lengths. It is also an universal phone charging station for iphones and androids. The charging element is inbeded in a Calacatta marble base with two light sources framed by an antiqued bronze mirrored fascia made out of brushed bronze metal. It’s dual purpose is not just practical, but also lends itself well as a decorative object. The second design is a Madison wall sconce, shown in two selective finishes. The soft oval shape stands in juxtaposition with the sharp texture applied to the face of the plate. Again, a reference to the modern art form reflecting beauty of art in a functional form. A milky glass lense hides the light source behind it.
