Papillon Interior designs were tasked with designing a room for a Boutique Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2022. The brief required that we create luxurious and elegant spaces that incorporate a sense of ‘home away from home’ for the guests. We made the highlight of this room the luxe green feature wall as part of the ‘nature 2022 trends’, and pulled through the natural elements of woods, textures and geometric shapes. This room needed to have a calming style which is why we added the darker and lighter shades of greens accompanied with the natural hues to create softer finishings.
