Celia Chu Design & Associates
Taipei Residence
Taipei City, Taiwan
All project descriptions are provided by SBID Awards entrants.
The residential skyscraper is located in the financial district of Taipei designed by world renown architect Richard Meier. Celia Chu Design wanted to create a luxury apartment which could be as open plan as possible when needed and zoned when not. With 1490 sq ft of internal space Celia Chu designed and installed bespoke full height room divider doors to have room divided when required and completely open plan when not. Three iconic cylindrical columns piercing each and every apartment are embraced and celebrated in the interior design. Celia creates a timeless modern luxury interior for the apartment owner, a quiet room for his guests and a grand space for social gatherings and parties as the owner is a very social person. Celia imports her luxury hospitality design experience into creating a luxury lifestyle for this iconic high rise city living residence.
