BDQ Interiors was invited to provide interiors for the newly built 6 bedroom 11000 sq ft property in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. The clients are middle-aged professionals with two school-aged children. They requested functional furniture and a layout to maximise space for entertaining indoors and out. Each room was to have its own vibe with different styles of furniture and lighting. The drawing room, with its dark and moody setting, is flooded with natural light during the day and with bright light from the wall size aquarium at night. The dining room has the subtle gold finishes to accentuate the classic glamour. From Zen master bedroom and modern wine storage to the state-of-art spa and pool area, the house is the ultimate living and entertaining space. However the soul of it remains to be the kitchen, with areas for the kids study, family dining and a family snug.
