Having extended their product range to include older children, Chinese childrenswear brand Balabala needed a grown-up transformation in order to appeal to the style-conscious tweenager and millennial parent, whilst remaining relevant to kids of all ages and staying true to their playful spirit. A bold new identity and store concept was created to reflect the brand’s fashion-forward attitude and allow them to appeal to a wider audience with a more grown-up yet magical shopping experience.
Fun, fashion-forward moments around the store – such as a 360° rotating display of outfits and eye-catching screens playing footage of Balabala’s cutting-edge shows from global Fashion Week events – communicate the brand’s trendsetting credentials. Unexpected pairings, such as contrasting shapes, patterns and textures, bring an element of playfulness and magical moments for young shoppers and their parents to enjoy.
