Doji Tower

Doji Tower, owned by Doji Golds and Gems Group – a jewellery powerhouse in Vietnam – is a mixed-use development inspired by the shape of a diamond and one which features classical architecture. Mercurio Design Lab (MDL), an Italian design studio specialising in avant-garde concepts, was challenged when commissioned to do the work. The brief includes designing the interiors while respecting the client’s wish to keep a classic design like the exterior’s pre-existing classical imprint. To create an integrated luxury experience that connects the outside and the inside, MDL developed a new style language that met the client’s expectations and remains consistent with MDL’s philosophy. The design method, a fusion of the classical and the contemporary, results in an Art Deco sensibility when applied in the various sections and functionalities of the building. In the end, the merging brought forth a timeless innovation that outlives evolving colours and trends of the time.
