Cordis Auckland, Pinnacle Tower, Chairman Suite

Cordis opened its additional 17-storey Pinnacle tower in December 2021, becoming New Zealand’s largest hotel by room count, including 244 new rooms and suites, executive lounge, character bar, event space and refurbishment to existing restaurants, reception, Spa and a new VIP lobby.

Space Studio was engaged to complete the interior design of the aforementioned spaces including a new chairman’s suite, which was to be the largest and most exclusive suite in the hotel encompassing 250m2 of the top floor, with panoramic views across the Waitemata Harbour.

The suite was to express the character of the locale and be a continued expression of the narrative that runs through the hotel, while meeting the functional needs of exclusive travellers, high profile celebrities and diplomatic guests.
