Grosvenor Terraced House

HWCD was commissioned to design a classical listed London townhouse for a private client. With the historical and cultural background of the project’s location and architecture, the design team wanted to deliver a timeless project. Drawing inspiration from contemporary art, the new design approach renders an artistic aesthetic that intertwines vintage and modern. The white walls, exquisitely carved plaster lines, and a slightly antique fireplace write a rhythm brought by time as if it speaks to the house’s ornate past. The use of layering design techniques, earthy colour scheme, and rich and cozy textures with luxurious materials form an elegant and calm atmosphere, delivering a simple and affluent attitude to life.
