This project entailed the interior design of a legacy home for a client and their family. Taking cues from the client’s love of luxurious materials, the design team created a captivating environment to reflect the family’s dreams and imagination.
The client requested that each room to have a unique feel with little replication. Luxury materials and rare components were combined in the one-of-a-kind, custom-crafted surfaces, joinery and furniture, ensuring that each room has its’ own story to tell. The visualizations featured here include the guest wing for the family, the main dining room, and two adjacent powder rooms.
In the dining room, the design team amplified the crystal by designing four large crystal doors that open to the servery. To balance out the cool tones of the crystal and marble floors, a warm terracotta hue was used for the silk-clad cove ceiling. The result is an interplay between hot and cold – a fire-and-ice inspired design theme.
Just as jewelry can elevate an outfit, the two main floor powder rooms were designed as jewelry boxes for the main floor. While one features hues of lavender in the wall veneer, marble and eglomise, the other is outfitted in blue opal agate, cognac stitched leather and custom metal wall detailing.
