This historic Victorian house was built in the 19th century for the Rennie family. A refurbishment project included a new kitchen, dining space and complementary pantry and boot rooms. Lewis Alderson married classic tailored furniture with the latest professional appliances from Sub Zero and Wolf to provide a kitchen of distinction. The symmetry of the furniture mirrored the architectural details of the house.
A focal chimney was created, with a precision Wolf range top, while cabinetry to either side housed Wolf professional ovens, including a steam oven and coffee machine above. Hand-finished antique mirror splash backs accentuated the light. The island, finished in Bianca Eclipsia Quartzite features a large sink, dishwasher, fridge drawers and a boiling water tap. The oak breakfast bar provides the client with space to work or entertain guests. The design is practical and inviting with every modern luxury included.
