Funky Monk, a specialised fish restaurant, bar and boutique hotel is set within the heart of a historic High Street in Epping, UK. The building itself is home to a blend of 250 year old Tudor and Edwardian architecture and Grade 2 listed original features.

Tone Interiors was commissioned to complete the Interior Design and Turnkey installation. Strong emphasis was placed on retaining and enhancing original architectural elements, while making the areas modern and usable.

Each suite is individually designed, featuring designer wallpapers and fabrics, limited edition artwork, and plush bedding to create a sense of decadence and escapism.
