GKN Aerospace’s Global Technology Centre

Interaction delivered GKN Aerospace’s (GKN) first UK-based Global Technology Centre (GTC). GKN’S GTC represents a major commitment to developing the sustainable aerospace technology of the future through collaboration and nurturing of new STEM talent.

GKN also needed to develop more agile ways of working, with a space that allowed flexibility, and increased efficiency. After many months working remotely, it needed to be a destination that feels homely and comfortable without feeling too sterile or “office-like.”

This project involved holistic engagement from workplace strategy, design and build to final delivery, onboarding materials through to post-occupation evaluation.

Insight from workplace research informed the design brief to bring GKN’s vision to life, and each floor has been designed to meet specific team and business requirements.

To call it a workspace doesn’t do it justice.
