A collaboration between IHG Interior Design Dept & Darling Associates. Located in the Bath Conservation area and the within in World Heritage Site, the Hotel Indigo buildings formed part of the incomplete architectural set-piece of c. 1743-49 by John Wood the Elder. They were originally built as individual houses, and the block of buildings are a combination of Grade I and Grade II* listed buildings.
The design needed to evoke the romance and mischief associated with the Georgian period, whilst reflecting the upscale positioning of the Hotel Indigo brand. 5 separate rooms design were created with all 166 rooms varying in layout and design.
