All project descriptions are provided by SBID Awards entrants.
The Falcon Hotel is a Grade II* Listed building in the heart of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon. It recently underwent a £12 million conversion into a 95-bedroom boutique Indigo hotel. The hotel incorporates The Woodsman, a new concept restaurant which is headed up by Michelin-starred chef Mike Robinson. Darling Associates provided the Interior Design service for this project, working alongside the appointed project architect. The Falcon Hotel was independently operated prior to the closure for the refurbishment and has a long history in the town. It is one of the most prominent buildings on the main high street and is located opposite Shakespeare’s last home in his retirement, which is now a tourist attraction.
