Aiming to carry through their principles of sustainability, flexibility, community, and hospitality, Hudson Pacific Properties approached McKinley Studios to develop an office space that catered to their staff and tech-focused clientele. This office being their first Canadian headquarters, needed west-coast identity to echo through without directly imitating their L.A.-based origins. McKinley curated a crossroads between tech, nature, and warmth into the iconic Bentall Centre through use of locally curated artists and vendors, as well as material-specific tailoring throughout the space. Focusing on the potential to cater company growth, the wood and light-soaked office was centralized around flexibility in its spaces
