The Lancaster’s Duplex

‘The Lancasters’, is an exquisitely beautiful white-stucco fronted terrace, dating back to the 1850’s, overlooking London’s Hyde Park. This striking, historic, building is the grand setting for Katharine Pooleys latest design project a luxurious and contemporary Duplex Apartment. Over three years, Katharine and her team of talented interior designers and architects, have worked to create an extraordinary home. Extensive, sensitively undertaken, building works resulted in two large duplex apartments being seamlessly merged into one incredible, 8,000 sq. ft residence. Valuable large-scale artworks and sculpture are balanced with period architectural detailing, imposing bespoke chandelier installations and chic mid-century European furniture.
