All project descriptions are provided by SBID Awards entrants.
In dealing with spatial relationships, the challenge was to harmonise the visual and spatial lines, in order to help the hotel present a more complete visual and experiential impression. The designer divided the whole space into two parts by taking advantage of the high layer-height relationship, which not only effectively improved the utilisation the space, but also considers the dynamic and static relationship from the functional partition. The first floor is the public area, containing the living room, bathroom and storage space. The various staircase forms appear in each room, which not only aggrandizement visual centre, but also conveys a modern factory feel through multiple expressions of material and form. As a living space, the second floor is more concerned with the interpretation of comfort and convenience.
