Element Living
Palace Gate
London, United Kingdom
All project descriptions are provided by SBID Awards entrants.
This high-end residential refurbishment project is in an apartment block in Palace Gate, in the Kensington area of London. The President of a public real estate investment company wanted to develop this apartment to sell to a private buyer with the design presentation by Element Living Interiors. Palace Gate was completed in 1939. The building is a modernist structure in the tradition of Le Corbusier and Walter Gropius, and of significant interest to the 20th Century society.
To reflect the modernist architecture in the 1930s, Element Living took it from there and created an Art Deco style. The real estate client sold this multi-million-pound apartment to a private buyer only by showing the existing apartment and the visualisation from the design presentation. The Buyer who is a quiet man, imaginatively requested the most vibrant and vital Living Room full of energy and colour, while retaining calm and peaceful.
