Drawing inspiration from patterns in nature, Studio Smiths designed a scheme for this Notting Hill residence to create a sense of luxury and comfort by incorporating sculptural details such as reeding, marbling and organic forms. An inviting yet peaceful atmosphere was created through the use of a cool colour palette using shades of stone blue, sage, eucalyptus, moleskin, French grey and smoke.

Faux leather, Calcutta marble, stained oak flooring and brushed antique brass finishes were all carefully considered for durability. Through a delicate marriage of light and line, this composition sought to exude a comfortable but dynamic sense of modernity.
