Philly Penthouse

Award-winning designer and multidisciplinary artist Tommi Mischell, with this project, once again demonstrates not only extraordinary skills for design but a keen sense for details, scale, and rhythm.

Tommi’s passion for geometry leads her to create the floors with elaborate stone design and reflect those shapes on the ceiling, which creates a feeling of separation even she working with an open floor plan. The modern Penthouse Tommi designed truthfully balances opposites and merges ‘grand and modern’ with ‘inviting and warm’.

Tommi’s forte is designing custom furniture to fit the project. She launched her new brand, Metropolitan, this year at Philadelphia Home Show, where she has been the designer for the past 20 years. Tommi often likes to say: “Great interiors are like a well-written poem where rhyme is not enforced.”
