Inspired by the surrealist paintings of Yves Tanguy, where the landscape and sky become one, the interior architecture of the Crown Spa Sydney imbues an unconscious and dream-like state. The concept, to design a space which transported each spa guest into a fantasy realm beyond their normal reality. Alike the moment just before sleep, the futuristic interior reflects the feeling of being conscious yet not awake.
