CHIL Interior Design was commissioned to design The Dorian, Autograph Collection. Inspired by Oscar Wilde’s unique societal perspective, progressive style, and love for the good life, the lobby features whimsical and playful design elements. The juxtaposition of modern and old English elements pays homage to Calgary’s identity while reflecting Wilde’s era. The space embraces a harmonious blend of sharp lines and soft textures, exuding both hipness and sophistication. Through layered textures and patterns, the design tells the story of Wilde’s contemporary presence, offering guests moments of creativity and discovery.
