The Lake House

Extreme’s unique approach to creating truly personal living spaces successfully interpreted the deign brief for this beautiful home. The client wanted the design to exude luxury with a strong Art Deco style, influenced by the interior of The Churchill Bar and Terrace at the Hyatt Regency in London. The scheme features Art Deco motifs throughout, from geometric forms, layered framing details and timeless glamour. The neutral palette with accents of gold, gives the home a contemporary essence that also remains sympathetic to the property’s classic architectural style. The quintessential sunburst pattern appears in custom glazing throughout the design, creating a feature of the hidden refrigeration and framing the range cooker either side of the stunning marble splashback. This home is a beautiful demonstration of blending the contemporary style of today with the features from iconic design movements of the past.
