TRIBECA Nanjing Hexi Flagship Store

The client is the owner of a well known bar who wanted to open a second bar as a spin-off of the original. The new bar is located in Nanjing’s Jianye District, an area not yet known for its leisure opportunities. The client therefore hopes his bar will become a new landmark in the area. Due to the volume of the project, the designers came up with a new concept, dividing the space into four large sections that are not completely independent. It was felt there should be a theme and emotional connection linking the spaces. By creating a complementary relationship between the different parts of the business, the designers have enabled the space to meet the multiple needs of a diverse clientele.
